Bugs list:
I'm having trouble with the example in the WinBugs manual section 5.10.
The following code is syntactically correct:
model
{
for (i in 1:5)
{
mu[i]<-alpha + beta*(x[i]-x.bar)
Y[i] ~ dnorm(mu[i], tau)
}
sigma<-1/sqrt(tau)
alpha~dnorm(0, 1.0E-6)
beta~dnorm(0, 1.0E-6)
tau~dgamma(1.0E-3, 1.0E-3)
}
But, I get the error message "made use of undefined node mu" when I try
to compile it (after loading the data successfully). I'm new to
Bugs/WinBugs so I can't imagine what is wrong.
