Hello everybody,
I'm writing on the behalf of a researcher who is using Splus5 in a Sparc
Solaris work station, and he is not able to run CODA.
The problem has not been encountered with the previous version of Splus and
with the same files of data.
In particular, the reported error is :
CODA seems to start normally; it asks to type the name of the file ( from
Bugs ) and the title, and after starting to abstract the values ( correctly
), it simply goes back automatically to the beginning, producing a loop.
The error message is:
problem in CODA():"<<-" not allowed in replacements: see?"<<-"
Use traceback() to see the call stack.
Is anybody using this CODA software within Splus5 for Unix ?
Could anybody be able to point out where is the problem?
Could the problem be in the installation of the software ( either Splus5 or
CODA ) or other ?
Thanks in advance for your help and support
Stefano
