Dear Brian and list,
Thanks for the message. We had realised that probit as a link was now
OK, but probit as a function was wrong. This is mentioned in the
WinBUGS 1.2 web page, along with the other problems people are
mentioning! Keep sending them in, and there's more of a chance the
proper release won't have them. Sorry about the probit function.
While I'm using up a list message, has anyone else had problems
printing the manual of 1.2? Notification of successes or failures to
ME please (not the list).
The next project is to set up a long-overdue web site for people to
contribute examples. The uses have gone way beyond our original set of
examples and it is depressing to think of everyone struggling each time
on their own. Don't send anything yet, but please think of examples
you could contribute (perhaps only with token or fictitious datasets).
Good luck
David
