Welcome, Tom, hope you get some good responses on this one. It's often
difficult to tell who's out there around this list, since there are
many lurkers, and many dippers, who regularly scan the list without
joining. My sense is that there are very few current, paid, uniformed,
card-carrying arts administrators here - I doubt if the discussion
would enrapture many of them, but I look forward to being proved
wrong. But there are quite a few part-time unpaid and largely unsung
people who adminisrate like mad, holding together impecunious series
and activities all over the place. Are these outside the scope of your
research?
Best,
RC
