It might perhaps be useful for list members to be aware of textbooks and
journal articles on AHM.
I have listed below some textbooks which I use. Journals with a specific
focus on AHM - I'm not aware of any, frankly.
Hill, E., O'Sullivan, C. and O'Sullivan, T. (1995), 'Creative Arts
Marketing', Butterworth-Heinemann.
Kotler, P. and Scheff, J. (1997), 'Standing Room Only: strategies for
marketing the performing arts', Harvard Business School Press
McLean, F. (1997), 'Marketing the Museum', Routledge.
It might help us all if list members could contribute from their respective
countries/disciplines/persepctives? (And perhaps even coax some of the many
lurkers into saying a little? :-)
