DIOCESAN ARCHIVIST: Parish Inspections Project

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and energetic person to complete
the first round of parish inspections in the Diocese of Manchester.
This new opportunity entails a major advisory role, involving direct
liaison with parishes and the Diocese to ensure the preservation of a
unique historical resource. The successful candidate will have excellent
communication skills, the ability to work on their own initiative and a
commitment to promoting the importance of archives within the community.
Applicants must have a recognised post-graduate diploma or degree in
Archive Administration, a clear, current driving licence and access to a
car. Good keyboard and computer skills are essential.
