I recently sent the above query to Allstat. I was looking to see if
anyone knew of any special techniques for summarising, statistically
and graphically, small sets of data. The example quoted related to
occupational exposure assessments from workplaces. None of the
replies I received referred to the existence of special techniques,
and so I am therefore assuming that standard exploratory data
analysis techniques (combined with the usual of common sense) is the
way forward.
I am therefore now looking for an up-to-date general text on current
exploratory data analysis techniques. Does anyone know of anything
that they would strongly recommend? As before, I will post a summary
to the list.
Thanks in advance,
Damien
