We are looking for a biostatistician. The post is at the Royal College of
Surgeons in Ireland, based in the Epidemiology Department.
The job will entail assembling and anlysing data from cohort studies, as
part of an EU-funded project aimed at improving coronary risk management
in clinical practice. However, the job will also entail assisting in the
development and analysis of research projects. The person would also be
encouraged to pursue their own research ideas and helped to secure
funding.
At present we have funding for two years, however there is potential for
the position to develop in the longer term.
We are looking for someone who has experience in the biostatistical
field, ideally with a broad experience of dealing with medical
researchers. Knowledge of Stata would be an advantage.
We are inviting people who are interested in the job to make contact by
email, submitting a brief CV, concentrating on practical experience in
biostatistics.
If you have any queries, please feel free to email me.
