The PhD awards are only open to UK students, and
will cover tuition fees and a stipend of 10500pa (including
a 2000pa bursary from the Actuarial Research Club, UBS or other
major company)
The Actuarial Research Club is funded by CGU,
PricewaterhouseCoopers, Government Actuary's Department, Guardian
Insurance, Hymans Robertson, KPMG, Munich Reinsurance, Swiss
Reinsurance and Watson Wyatt.
Applications should have, or expect to receive in 1999, a First or
Upper Second Class Honours degree in a mathematical, statistical or
related subject from a British University.
