SUMMER MEETING & AGM - 8th July 1999

This year's summer meeting will take place at IACR - Long Ashton
Research Station, which is situated about 5 miles south west of Bristol
(map available from the pointer on the LARS home page
http://www.lars.bbsrc.ac.uk/index.html )
The meeting will start at 2pm in the Conference Room, but meals are
available in the Refectory at 1pm (if anyone wishes to use this
facility, please let Gillian Arnold know in advance - see below for
contact details). There will be short talks describing some of the
scientific work at Long Ashton, with an emphasis on the willow breeding
programme and some of the associated statistical problems. This will be
followed by a tour of the glasshouse facilities. After tea, the AGM of
the society will take place.
