SENIOR STATISTICIAN (ACIR)
£22,579 - £30,065 per annum

A Senior Statistician is required for the ABERDEEN CENTRE FOR IMPLEMENTATION
RESEARCH (ACIR) within the Health Services Research Unit. Implementation
research is the evaluation of different methods to promote the transfer of
research findings into clinical practice. The successful candidate will be
primarily responsible for advising on the statistical design and analysis of
research projects conducted within ACIR, and will contribute to the
development of research on aspects of cluster randomised trials methodology.
You should be a graduate in statistics or a closely related discipline
(preferably with a higher degree) with at least 3 years experience of
inter-disciplinary evaluative research (preferably in a health-related
field). The post is tenable for 3 years (in the first instance) from 1
