Yesterday I emailed Allstat, inviting recommendations for literature
search tools for statisticians. Thanks to Jan Poloniecki, Doug Altman,
Paul Seed, Linda Williams, Peter Lane and Anna Gigli for recommending
Bath Information and Data Services (BIDS), whose website is at
http://www.bids.ac.uk/, and which was recommended as covering recent (ie
post-electronic) references. And thanks also to Philippe Arondel for
recommending the European Mathematical Society's "Math Data Base
1931-1999", which apparently allows you a free sample of 3 searches, and
whose website is http://www.emis.de/cgi-bin/MATH.
I will be checking out both of these options. Thanks again.
Regards
Roger
