The 190th ordinary meeting of the British Region of the International
Biometric Society will be a one-day meeting entitled
New Directions in Plant Biology
on Wednesday June 23rd
at Horticulture Research International, Wellesbourne
starting at 10am and finising around 4pm.
In addition to papers describing some of the current biometrical
research at HRI, the meeting will include a celebration of 50 years of
biometrics at Wellesbourne (including contributions from John Nelder
and Geoff Freeman, past Heads of Biometrics at Wellesbourne), and an
opportunity to view some of the facilities and experimental work at
Wellesbourne.
The registration fee for the meeting is 18 UKP, which includes a
buffet lunch, coffee and tea.
HRI Wellesbourne is located between Leamington Spa and
Stratford-upon-Avon, and is close to junction 15 of the M40. For
delegates travelling by rail, transport can be arranged between
Leamington Spa station and HRI Wellesbourne.
