You are invited to subscribe to an e-mail list for purposes of discussion
of imputation of missing data.
I have been creating and using multiple imputations for several months,
after some study of the topic, and hope to gain from the knowledge,
wisdom, and experience of other users, especially in regard to a number of
decisions one has to make in applications. Maybe others have similar
interests; hence, this new list.
I plan to post some of my own thoughts (questions, mainly) to the list
once it gets going. My own applications have involved multiple
imputations using Rubin's concepts and Schafer's software on a large
multi-stage sample survey, but I want to invite discussion of any methods
and type of data in which contributors have a serious interest.
To subscribe to this list, send an e-mail to the address

and in the body of the mail include just one line:

You will get a reply confirming your subscription and telling you how to
use the list, much like other e-mail lists.
I would be happy for anyone to forward this announcement to other relevant
lists. It has already been sent to EPIDEMIO-L, ALLSTAT, SRMSNET, SEMNET,
STAT-L (sci.stat.consult) and EDSTAT-L (sci.stat.edu).
