STATISTICIAN/MATHEMATICIAN WITH EXPERIENCE IN MODELLING AND SIMULATION

Medical Data Sciences provides Statistics and Data Management Expertise to the drug development process and has created this exciting new role.
Based in the UK, you as the successful candidate will be influential in helping GW to make simulation and modelling an integral part of its drug development process. You will play an exciting cross-functional role working closely with colleagues from clinical research, clinical pharmacology, health outcomes, pharmacokinetics and statistics. You will be required to work internationally developing clinical trial simulation and modelling capability and coaching others in acquiring appropriate techniques. You will be expected to be active in developing and maintaining contacts with experts in the field external to the company.
We expect you to have a post-graduate degree with a mathematical or statistical background and experience in modelling of systems. You are a self-starter, with excellent communication skills and the proven ability to influence others. You have demonstrated the ability to solve problems, identify new opportunities and to work effectively in teams with colleagues from many disciplines. Any experience you have of working in or with the pharmaceutical industry, clinical trial simulation, industrial or process engineering and/or econometric or epidemiological modeling makes you more desirable.
