Lectureship in Applied Statistics
Applications are invited for the post of Lecturer in the Department of
Applied Statistics. The post is for a fixed term of one year and is
tenable from 1 October, 1999, or a date to be arranged. Applicants should
normally have a PhD in Statistics, or should expect to obtain such a
degree in the near future.
Applicants should have research interests in some area of applied
statistics, but preference may be given to someone with interests in the
applications of statistics in agriculture, biology, environmental
science or medicine.
The initial salary will be in the range 17,238 - 22,579 pounds per annum.
The post carries USS benefits.
