Does anyone have experience with packages for spc, control
charts and quality measurement. The cheaper and more word
and powerpoint compatible the better.
I am currently looking at spss, minitab, stata and a
specialist package, spc/p+, which purports to be
specifically designed for statistical process control.
However all of them have limitations in how user friendly
they are.
As a statistician (in theory anyway) i would be able to
spend time re-setting defaults to allow for several control
limits, or pilot phases upon which limits may be set and
then fixed for the real-time evolution of the process.
But I am wondering if a slick package exists to do this.
The aim is for non-technical people to use them as
in the manufacturing and car industries.
Any help/info appreciated.
