NEW RESULTS ON LOAD-BALANCED NETWORKS
A load-balanced network is where
a task joins a shortest queue from a
prescribed sample. This is a new class
of networks interesting both theoretically
and with regard of applications. The talk will
focus on the problem of assession of the
sub-criticality domain
and the equilibrium distribution. A particular
role in the analysis is played by systems of
non-linear differential equations.
The talk does not assume any special previous
knowledge, apart from basics of calculus and
probability theory.
