CHAIR IN STATISTICS
A Chair in Statistics in the Institute of Mathematics and
Statistics at the University of Kent at Canterbury is
available from 1st September 1999 or such a date as may be
arranged.
The successful candidate will have a strong research record
in an area of statistical modelling or applied probability
and a commitment to excellence in teaching. Preference may
be given to a person who has proven expertise in at least
one application area and an ability to take advantage of
advances in computation to produce innovative modelling.
It is planned that there will be a lectureship to accompany
this chair.
