Dear colleagues,
At Bournemouth University we are reviewing the way we deal with enquiries
from prospective students and the immediate response to that by sending them
prospectuses, course information, leaflets, etc.
I would be very grateful if you could share with me how you do it in your
Institution. A few questions that come to mind are:
* Do you deal with all enquiries centrally , and if so by whom, or by
School/Faculty/Department?
* Do you deal with all enquiries in the same way, i.e. undergraduate
and postgraduate, full-time and part-time? If yes, how, if not what are the
differences.
* At the first stage of the enquiry, do you send applicants standard
University/College information, i.e. the prospectus or is it tailored to the
course/subject they are interested
This is just to give you an idea to the sort of things we are looking at,
but by no means an exhaustive list, and I will be very interested to hear
about other things that you do or that you have decided not to do anymore
and why.
I would be happy to collect all the responses directly and collate them in
some king of form to report back to those of you who may be interested.
Thank you very much for your collaboration.
Regards,
Ana
