Presumably one would expect that such difficulties would occur with increasing frequency in a country undergoing a military coup and in its aftermath. Individuals sending money abroad might be the object of suspicion. I understand from the press that political figures etc have had their bank accounts frozen. It might also take some time to clarify what the problem is and its cause in particular cases, especially since the programme of the military seems rather unclear. Aren't institutions inclined to give students the benefit of some significant doubt in these circumstances?

STUDENTS FROM PAKISTAN
We have recently had a student from Pakistan attempting to
register but informing us that he is experiencing
difficulties in obtaining his money from Pakistan (his
father is sponsoring him). Does anyone know if there is
any substance to this claim or are you having any
difficulties in obtaining payment from this country?
