I had hoped that the SLC was to be our single point of contact for all
matters on student support be it a course transfer or chasing a
cheque with the SLC forwarding the the details on to the appropriate
LEA as required. If there is any chance of this happening this year
or next it would make life much easier.

Colleagues
I issued my own composite AS1/AS2 forms to LEAs as in previous
years for all students to the respective LEAs. This seems to have
worked ok, I have had the 'usual' number of enquiries from students
who have not received a grant cheque because "The LEA says that
you
haven't sent a report form".
One telephone call later to the appropriate LEA seems to sort this
problem out.
However, I am unsure if I should be sending notification of
withdrawals to LEA's this year for our current level 1 & 2 students,
or do these go directly to the SLC or somewhere else. In the
meantime
I willcontinue to contact the LEA.
