As one of the few at SROC who had managed to get the return in (at considerable
inconvenience and delay to the rest of my work), I'm very annoyed that I'll
have to resubmit it to take account of the changed guidance on freshers' weeks.
I'm considering just emailing heihelp to tell them what the altered date is for
all of our first years.
I'd managed to pick up on the use of "SW" for all years out, but it took some
finding and a query to SLC to confirm I was interpreting the notes correctly -
my apologies to you all for assuming they'd pass that clarification on
promptly.
Even without all the difficulties surrounding the software, receipt of it on
the Tuesday of a bank holiday week, with an effective deadline of the
same Thursday really is not acceptable.

That sounds like an excellent idea.
