At UCL we do not return scripts but coursework/lab notebooks are returned.
This gives us a headache with the requirements of QAA and to try to overcome
this we are thinking of slecting a number of students ( at random) to be
allowed ( with permissionof the student) to show their work throughout all
their time at the university to the assessors. many departments ask students
to do photocopies of essays and coursework so that a copy can be sent to
exam boards as required. Some departments go a little further and do not put
remarks on c/work but rather on a covering sheet a copy of which is given to
students for feedback.
i would be glad to have a copy of your summary responses.
