We have recently been discussing the pros and cons of returning examination
scripts to students. I would like to know what other institutions think of
this, and if you give scripts back, how do you go about it, particularly in
view of the need to have scripts for Exam Boards. And how do you deal with
the requirements of QAA visits and the like, who usually want to see a
fairly extensive sampling of work, often from the previous year and earlier
(depending when in the year the visit takes place)?
I will be happy to prepare a digest of responses for those interested.
Many thanks.
