At Hertfordshire we require police check for our Dip HE Nursing, BSc
Nursing, Bsc Paramedic Science, BSc Physiotherapy and for BSc Radiography.
Checks are also carried out for those Social Work programmes where practice
is involved but this is managed by Herts County Council and we are not
given the results. In all cases the checks are carried out after they have
enrolled. Certainly as far as all the 'caring' professions, involving
practice, are concerned we are obliged to carry out police checks. Let me
know if you need further info.
