When we enquired last week we were told that no procedure for amendments had been devised and we got the impression that little thought had gone into this. The person at SLC took a note " for the file "! We were not informed that we could re-submit the database but this seems a rather extreme measure for what are really only minor amenments.

Subject: Amendments to SLC/HEI database
Date: 06 May 1999 15:49
I have just contacted the SLC helpdesk to ask how I inform them of any
amendments to the database eg. course closures, name changes etc. I was
told
that, up to tomorrow (7 May) I can make changes to the database and
resubmit to
the SLC. After 7 May, the official line is - The procedure for subsequent
amendments has not been formalised as yet, but I will be informed as soon
as the
procedure is in place. Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but I get the
feeling that they haven't really put alot of thought into it. . . .
.until now!
Has anyone else spoken to the SLC regarding this subject?
