Subject: Planning Office Query
Dear All,
Thanks very much for your very quick responses.
Here is the latest draft of the results of the "How many"
question. The
table is pretty unsophisticated at the moment. (It is in RTF
format and
Word2. Let me know if another format is needed) However we
could improve it.
I have been through all of the returns and they vary in depth of
response
(my fault for not being specific enough). I started to go
through the table
and insert the various activities undertaken by the various
Planning
Offices, but quickly decided that I did not have enough info to
do so and I
did not want to offend by including or not including activities
that you may
or may not undertake.
Therefore, if you are interested in taking 20 minutes or so to
populate your
element of the table, I have suggested a set of Key attributes
which could
denote the array of activities undertaken. Again, if your
institution
undertakes other activities, give it a Key Variable and add it
to the table
and Key Variable description list. Please keep in mind:
1. If it is possible to allocate resources (in FTE's) to
each Key
Variable then all the better.
2. Please ensure that all your amendments are made in
your entry
line and are in [] square brackets (for ease of identification
of changes).
3. If the No.s allocated to your Planning Function are
not correct,
please correct them and accept my apologies for interpreting
them incorrectly.
As per Peter Tinson's email, please email directly to me and I
promise to
distribute the next version of the table.
All constructive comments welcome.
Cheers
Frank
