I joined the lists at the end of July as I had started work on a feasibility
study for an Education One-stop shop/cafe in Newcastle, to act as an
information gateway widening participation in training and education.  My
request for information brought back a number of useful leads - thanks to
everyone that responded.  We are currently coming to the end of consultation
with local workers/residents (mixed reaction), and drawing together the data
for a report at the end of October.

The project currently has another month to run, but I am leaving the
university at the end of this week, so will be unable to relay further
details the project.  Anyone who wishes to find out more about the report
