I also wanted to purchase this report but was prevented by the price.
Their suggestion to me was to buy the report with several others
unfortunately however I am the only person in my department to whom this
report has major relevance.
Much of the problem could have been solved if they had had a free report
summary so that we could see what we were paying for
They also said that the price of the report was simply to cover
costs. I was wondering whether other similar reports do cost this
sort of amount or whether they are subsidised in some way. If stlg40 is
the true cost of the research we would be doing ourselves as
researchers (if we are researchers!) a disservice if we were unable
to pay for the cost of research work
