I've just sent a mail to Brit Po that I didn't mean to send -- I saved it on
hard drive for further consideration not realising I'd left it on my Aol mail
to send. It was too fast a reaction. Now it's done, I guess I'll stand by it
because it may be useful. But I do actually feel warm to all concerned:
working in a difficult situation, I realise, and really trying to make the
damned craft mean something.
I saved it most particularly, however, so as to reflect on my remarks about
Equipage because I back that particular publishing enterprise more than
practically any other on the British left wing right now, have solid approval
of Rod, and always take care to give his publications mention in Gare du
Nord. I don't in fact have male-female statistics for the Equipage output
and did not intend to publish a knee-jerk comment aimed at making another
point without thinking more about it. Oh well.
Thanks to Keston for his latest remarks.
Doug
