This message is an answer to Ric's question about Clinton's
speach the other day.
I remember something Pound wrote on "How to read" (1928):
he asked about the literature's task on the Estate. Then, after
saying it is linked to clearness of the tools (words), he concluded
that when words begin to be rotten, the complete machinery of
thought and the social and individual order go to hell. (Part IV)
So, being optimistic we can consider that maybe, all around the world
we are already in hell. It would be interesting to know what part of
responsability writers -and among them, laureate poets- have.
