said some really interesting things. Was I meant to take the comment
"Crocodile Dundee from the bush" as something positive? It says heaps about
"centre-fringe" relations. About where books are published. And from the
so-called avant-garde this is doubly amusing. Maybe it was the promotion of
a "destruction" of the lyrical I. More polite to say negation? Though I'm
sure the quote marks around "destruction" were visible..
