THE ACORN-RUKEYSER CHAPBOOK CONTEST
First Prize: publication and $100 US
Runner-Up: $100 US
Rules
Poems may be published or unpublished.
The entry fee is $12. Payment by cheque or money order
payable to Mekler & Deahl, Publishers.
An entry will be a poetry manuscript of up to thirty pages.
Simultaneous submissions are acceptable.
Manuscripts must be typed or word-processed.
The authoršs name should not appear on the manuscript. The authoršs name and
address and the title of the manuscript should appear on a separate sheet.
Copyright remains with the author.
All entries will be returned after the winning chapbook is published.
All entrants will receive a copy of the winning chapbook.
The author of the winning manuscript will receive fifty copies of the
chapbook.
The winning author and the runner-up will each receive a cash prize of $100
US.
Deadline: Entries must be postmarked by September 30, 1999.
Winner will be notified in spring, 2000.
