Just got this morning a copy of an anthology entitled
THE 20th CENTURY ENGLISH POETRY ANTHOLOGY Vol.1
Included is Andrew Duncan
who is described as
"A happy family man too of distinguished pedigree,
Andrew Duncan's sharp mind brings delight to his readers.
Those who have gained his friendship
have something unique to treasure."
Other poets in this book include Roger Perrin
who has some words (I hesitate to call them poetry)
on the "Poem" page of the "Millennium" set of pages
on Channel 4 Teletext.
The editor in one of her own poems which begins
"My poet friend Adrian Henri
from Liverpool, once had his work
"computerized" ...
goes on to state
"....Poetry and computers
cannot go hand in hand,
a badly matched couple they will always be.
Would you put together emotion and maths?"
Anyone remember that excellent poet Brian Higgins
who sadly died too young.
He was a mathematician.
Enough said for now
