What about
Tales of Ordinary Madness - Ben Gazzara
Barfly - Micky Rourk, and the actress from Bonnie and Clyde
And there was a Tom Conti Picture in which he played a poet.
I will look up the details in the morning if you do not get them elsewhere.

Subject: poets in the movies
Hi
I'm trying to put together a list of movies about poets or with poetic
themes. A quick scan gives me
*Shakespeare in Love (1998);
*A Fine Madness (Irvin Kershner 1966 with Sean Connery, Joanne Woodward,
Jean seberg);
*Dead Poets Society (director Peter Weir, cinematographer John Seale;
with Robin Williams);
*The Disappearance of García Lorca,(directed by Marcus Zurinaga, written
by Zurinaga and Juan Antonio Ramos, Neil Cohen and Ian Gibson,
photographed by Juan Ruiz-Anchia and starring Andy Garcia and Esai
Morales);
*Dark Side of the Heart (?? Set in Buenos Aires);
*Blood of a Poet (1930 Jean Cocteau);
*A Merry War (1998 Director: Robert Bierman; Writer Alan Plater,
adapted from George Orwell's novel "Keep the Aspidistra Flying"; Cast
Richard E.Grant, Helena Bonham Carter, Jim Carter, Harriet Walter).
Any you can add, with as much production detail as possible (including
expanding on the above) will be greatly appreciated. Final listing will
appear as a new list page on The Poetry Kit, with web links if
available.
Thanks
Ted Slade
