This discussion of open and closed forms of art would benefit greatly
from someone proposing examples of one 'closed' and one 'open' poem,
following whatever definition (acknowledged at the start) they wish to
attach to those terms.
I am frankly having a difficult time thinking of any substantial poem
that could be described as 'closed' , although I wonder if some poets
don't feel the draft at the door more than others (e.g. Creeley v.
Heaney).
Is it just a matter of degree?
