an interesting note about Marion Boyars (whom I mourn, she was venturous
enough even to publish me) whom I mourn -- the Munich paper Sueddeutsche
Zeitung (SZ) has a deeply felt article on her career and 'stature' -- and
makes the point that the NYTimes wrongly says that Marion Asmus was born
in New York -- whereas (SZ claims) she was born in Hamburg, echt deutsch.
Does anyone who knows her better than I ever did (by letter alone) have
the Vera Historia?
