I don't know if this helps: when I was 18 I was 6' 2½ , but when I measured
myself recently - I turned 40 this year - I found that I'm only 6' 2¼. I'm
not sure whether the missing quarter inch is to do with being involved with
poetry or whether aliens came and took it when I was asleep.
