I'm not sure that this is true Billy. In fact I'd have imagined quite the
opposite is true. Most of the poets I know are successful academics,
businesswomen and businessmen, public servants and so on. There's something
rather odd that poetry seems to generate good professional managers. In some
cases I think poets make excellent capitalists. Even if some quarters mourn
such matters.
