Apologies for the cross posting of this information. The following was
received from Ms Terry Skelton, who with others is hoping to establish a new
magazine, (electronic and paper). The magazine will be produced by
students at the University of
Liverpool and is open to all to contribute.

Transparent - A New Ezine
A new bi-monthly ezine based on a world-wide readership is about to be
launched in
conjunction with PKPoetry List.
Anyone can contribute poetry in any form (please see contributors guidelines
below), there
are no restrictions though poems of exceptional length may need to be
published in
segments.
On the Edge will be sent as an ezine (via email) to all contributors and
people requesting
copies, it may also be published on paper in an unusual format (more of this
later when we
get past the technical difficulties.) In addition it will be available
on-line at the PK Site
and annual bound archive copies will be published in book form and lodged
with various
archives and libraries. Including the British Library and the Library of
Congress.
Transparent Words - ONE will be published in January 2000.
Contributors - Please read this carefully
Readers will be invited to critique the published poems and a selection of
these critiques
will be published in subsequent editions.
At this point contributors will be paid in thanks and recognition, they will
receive 100%
thanks for each contribution accepted, to be followed by a whole heap of
recognition
when it is published.
Contributors retain copyright of their work but give permission for the
reproduction of
their poem, both electronically and in print in the relevant edition and
subsequent archives.
Contributors must only submit their own work.
All submitted poems will be considered, but contributors should note the
following
requirements -
We require poems which are outward looking, forward looking, logical and do
not rely on
semantic tricks to make them work.
After the first edition we will be able to point contributors in the
direction of the emag to
see what we are about, until then, we are looking for poems which represent
life at the
start of the new millennium, not the end of the last one.
