Hi all--sorry to use the list as a general bulletin-board but...: just
wanted to say that I'll be off to Halifax from Nov.1st-14th; any
correspondence about _The Gig_, orders, &c will be handled after the 14th.
By the way, many thanks Pete for the John Riley elegy. I don't suppose
about out there would know who/what Riley quotes in the opening line of
"Czargrad"--"to get to know the flight of birds"? In "The World Itself,
the Long Poem Foundered" it's explicitly i.d.'d as a quotation:
In full voice, in full throat, in full cry, in full
Flight. To trace, round-eyed, the flight of birds,
As a poet said.
