Reviews sure are scarce, tho we gave Wesleyan the dope to cover all
the usual suspects... there are said to be a couple in the pipeline...
but if anyone out there is panting to review Other, and has a good
idea where they might place such a review, preferably within the
lifespan of the publication, please contact me! My guess is that in
the UK this fell into the timehole when anthology-reviewers were plumb
tuckered out after Sinclair, Armitage n Crawford, O'Brien etc, poor
dears, it's a tough life.
Neil Astley has some cogent comments on the shortfalls of UK literary
reviewing in Binary Myths 2, ed. Andy Brown, available now from your
local STRIDE outlet. If he finds it hard for big animals like Bloodaxe
to get sensible notice, it's not surprising that it's darned near
impossible closer to the jungle floor!
