On the Poets of London submission procedure for the September 28 reading, a
further clarification on copyright has been requested by Jim Bennett (to
whom thanks).
You need only grant copyright if you are not planning to read your poem(s)
yourself (reading in public coming under S.47 of the Public Performance
Act). You need not grant copyright otherwise unless you wish to submit your
work for possible web-publication at some future date. In the case of any
possible future web-publication Poets of London reserves the right to decide
when (and if) this would be and would contact the poets concerned again.
My apologies for being less than totally clear on this. Please do not all
launch in on copyright.
Best, Sally
