"flame" is when one publicly blames you for misbehaviour regarding
netiquette

>My decision to put Omar Abu el Rub's emails onto these two mailing lists,

>There were request to pass info on to Serbia etc. - which is what I did,

Here on "Artnet" I've not noticed much

STOP dragging my name on that other list where i'm not able to
answer

>I do not recall making a personal statement about how I think or feel about

yes you are responsable with informations you spread
Actually you are beeing used by fascists trying to justify their mass murder
policy.
And no, we don't ask you to.
And it is certainly not information actually

>In what way is it useful to anyone that you attack me, Rivca, for passing
>on information about a subject others opened up before me on this list,

All serbs are against Milosevitch, and none is against ethnic
purification : and we don't care
And that is certainly still not information

>I learn little from your attack, but I personally welcome any information

"information" means verified information
means YOU pretend reporting a true fact
YES you are still responsable just by pretending it is "information"
words have meaning, If you can't responsably control what you say,
then don't :
abusing facts & abusing words are the ABC of fascism, exactly

>I have not seen much evidence of people learning (i.e.changing their views)
>as a result of attack, so if you are sure that you are right, how can the
>'Omar Abu el Rub' of this world learn from you?

i'm just asking YOU to respect the rules of this list;
When I want "various serbian views on mass extermination"
i will subscribeto the "various serbian views on mass extermination"
mailing list, might even create it, ok ? capice ?
