STATISTICIAN
The IOM is an independent charitable organisation with a
high international reputation for the quality and independence
of its research, consultancy and teaching.
We now have a vacancy in Edinburgh within our Risk and Medical
Sciences Group for a Statistician. The successful candidate will
join an established group of experienced statisticians and
analyst-programmers, integrally involved in an expanding programme
of research in occupational and environmental epidemiology,
exposure assessment, risk estimation and safety. The post offers
interesting, varied and useful work, and both opportunity and
support for professional development.
The post will suit someone with an honours or master's degree in
statistics or biometry, and some relevant experience, preferably
in health research.
Salary, dependent on qualifications and experience, will be
in the range c. Stg 14,000 to Stg 24,500.
