Title : Calibration Methods for Multidimesional Data
Calibration techniques have been used in the past to rate the performance
of probability forecasts. In this talk, it will be shown how calibration
methods can be modified to map the relationship between a prediction and
its update in multidimensional data. A calibration criterion and test
statistic will be introduced to check the performance of a forecast and
applied to real data. It will also be shown how the dimensionality of a
noise corrupted observations sequence can be reduced with out loss of
information.
