The S-PLUS Data Analysis for Finance course is designed
to provide a solid foundation to programming in S-PLUS.
Beginners can benefit from this course to get up and
running in S-PLUS, whilst experienced users can

The course concentrates on data analysis using the
S-PLUS command line. We explore the existing tools in

S-PLUS Fundamentals is designed for not only for those
new to S-PLUS, but also for those who have some previous
experience. Beginners can take this course to get up and
running in S-PLUS, while experienced users can "fill in
the gaps" of their knowledge . The course will expose
users to essential S-PLUS functions.
Course Description:
This four day course covers the basics of S-PLUS for
Windows with an emphasis on using S-PLUS to analyze data.
We will cover the fundamentals of the Graphical User
Interface (GUI) and the syntax of the S-PLUS command line.
We will explore the tools for data analysis, including
powerful and flexible graphics functions as well as
several of the most common statistical procedures.
Upon completion of this course, every participant will
have a strong foundation for becoming a successful
S-PLUS user.
