DATA MANAGER
Applications are invited from graduates with an IT or
statistics/quantitative psychology background to fill the post of Data
Manager on an MRC research programme directed by Professor Robert Plomin.
The programme aims to investigate the early emergence and persistence of
mild mental impairments and their connection with behavioural problems in
young children, specifically a large sample of twins. The post involves
database design and maintenance, management of analysis datasets and
statistical analysis. Applicants should have experience of database
management and statistical analysis techniques (using packages such as SAS
and SPSS). Applicants must be able to work within an academic research
team environment and be willing to develop skills to adapt to the changing
requirements of the post.
Starting salary in the range £21,049 pa to £26,613 pa (inclusive of £2,134
pa London Allowance).
