Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Transport Engineering
Applications are invited from highly motivated and well qualified candidates
for a Lectureship/Senior Lectureship in Transport Engineering, based in the
Centre for Transport Studies.
Applicants should have a strong background in one or more of the following
areas: traffic operations and control, transport safety, transport asset
management, environmental aspects of transport, transport economics or
transport modelling.
Applicants will be expected to contribute to undergraduate and
postgraduate teaching and to develop a programme of research in their
chosen specialism.
The Department is widely recognised as one of Europe's centres of
excellence in Civil and Environmental Engineering, achieving top grade (5*) in
the recent UK assessment of research quality and performing very well in
teaching quality assessments.
The Department operates in partnership with its sister Department at
University College London as the University of London Centre for Transport
Studies and has strong links with a number of leading universities overseas.
